This guitar features an "overkill" pickup selector arrangement - there are three on/off pickup switches, plus three separate splitter switches (with three positions each). The result is over 40 distinct sonic choices - this is not your father's electric guitar! ;-) Unfortunately, finding a truly good sound can be a challenge as all this extra switchgear has a noticeable tone-robbing effect. And once you do find that good sound you'd better write down all the switch positions for future reference. ;-) The precise production figure on these guitars is unknown, though it is likely that no more than 100 (at most) were made.
