This is the very last "Signature" model bass, designed with one goal in mind: paying most sincere tribute to the life and contributions of Mr. Leo Fender. Both a guitar and a bass were offered. The bass is essentially a "fancy" ASAT Bass finished in cherryburst, with gold-colored hardware and pickguard. While it was originally scheduled for a production of 150, there is some speculation that the actual production total may have been far lower. (Interestingly, though, the neck plates on the basses _do_ read "#X of 150").
