This guitar is a "hybrid" with an ASAT-style body but with S-500 pickups and a 5-way switch. Very few were made during the pre-BBE era; however, the model was reissued by BBE for a number of years and the reissue achieved modest success. This guitar is also somewhat the "basis" for the 1999 www.guitarsbyleo.com Limited Edition, though the latter is a semihollow instrument with a mahogany body.
