Tribute Legacy Neck Plate, same as Fender?

Just wondering if the pocket/bolt spacing on the GL's are close to Fender dimensions.
I sent back one from reverb after it was damaged in shipping, and probably needed a neck shim, the action was a mile high.
So did a brilliant thing, and ordered another from reverb! I figure, the next one might need a shim also, just wondering if the fender style custom full pocket shims would fit in the GL.
