G&L Legacy Tribute Series - Transformed to a lefty

Wed Aug 03, 2011 2:53 pm

Hi everyone,

as promised in the introduction section, i am going to post a few pics of my transformed G&L

http://rolandclemenceau.free.fr/GL/

The nut's been flipped, work has been done to reinforce the tuning pegs and extra tuning's been performed by the saddles/bridge area. Following my request no glue was used to fix the nut after flipping).

Wanna thank my friend again for casting his professional eye on this project and most of all for all the modifications he's been successfully performing.

That's it ;)

Roland,
That's pretty cool. I always admired that approach to playing lefty. And thanks for waking up long dormant thoughts of getting a lefty to set-up as a righty....

Hi Ledergeist,
thx :) now, a lefty transformed to a righty, i only recently came aware of that it seems to be a trend out there, i dunno i guess it's rightful in its own way, though originally people would transform their guitars as a way to save money and...probably as a gimmick too i guess, back in those days where you had to find anything to entertain the audience. What do you think?
