Hi all,
The
30th Anniversary Collection
You can check them out on the
G&L main website home page!
And check out the
DFS Vibrato system, details on the
Features page for the DF Vibrato system.
Very cool indeed!

Very impressive!... I'm particularly drooling over the new vibrato bridge mods. I once put a similar cold steel block into a cheap strat copy, and the changes were astounding (exactly as described). The thought of the same thing happening in a Legacy is going to play on my mind!

Very interested.
When will the 30's be available?
How limited?
Will any G&L dealer sell them?
Prices?

You should be able to order them from any G&L dealer now.
We cannot discuss prices here, but contact a G&L dealer and they
will be able to let you know.
The production of these will be limited to an amount of time based upon demand.
Hope this helps.

Do they come in black?
I was hoping for a reissue G200. Maybe in 2015........sigh.

Those sound really cool. I may have to whine to my financial advisor.
It would be really great if there was a block, or block and saddle kit, to upgrade existing DFV systems.
If they could keep the price reasonable--hey, I have 16 G&Ls with DF Vibratos!!!

I contacted Dave about this and he said:
"We have discussed this, knowing that there would be guys wanting to upgrade. We need a little time to make it available.
We’re looking into it."So, stay tuned and when they have worked this out, Dave or I will post a follow up.
Hope this helps.

callaham has been producing steel blocks for DF vibratos for quite a while now, I've got 4 of them and If I remember correctly I think they were about 90 bucks a piece when we did a multi order from this site.

Any high res pics of these floating around, I would like to get a good look at the finish (hoping it isn't as flat as it appears).

I'm not a fan of matching headstocks, but these look VERY nice!

Those sure do look sweet. I bet the paintjob looks awesome in person.

I do need an ASAT Special....

I would have never guessed, or even bet that this is what they would do for the 30th anniversary. I am impressed. I am not impressed with the pics. Those guitars must look hundreds of times better in person. I could go for that ASAT Special.

Any new news on aftermarket availability of the new DFV? I'm definitely interested in upgrading.
