Identifying my new classic

I'm new to the G&L family. One thing I've noticed is through the years G&L is a bit inconsistent in their headstock markings. If I can figure out how to post photos I'd appreciate a bit of help on if mine is a USA or other.
Nope, no photos. Ok the front of my headstock has the G&L logo with guitars by Leo under it. Also say ASAT Classic. The back simply has a serial number. CLF51487. I took off the neck. On the neck it says AC MP #4 neck G nut and silver. On the body cavity it says June 10 2008. It does have a certificate of authenticity indicating it was made in Fullerton. The guitar is silver sparkle and has a humbucker in the neck and single coil in the bridge. I appreciate the help provided I gave enough information.

Definitely a made in Fullerton, USA guitar. The humbucker in the neck position is indicative of an ASAT Classic Bluesboy model. Other ASAT Classic guitars would have a single coil or MFD in the neck and bridge positions.

Congrats on getting a G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy. As we say, it does not exist without photo proof.

Craig, that is a great list. Seems odd that the Bluesboy models don't say bluesboy anywhere...Mine is the semi hollowbody in silver sparkle.

I got the guitar from an older guy who had it pinstriped for a fallen biker friend. I initially had intentions of taking it off, but after meeting the dude and hearing the story, I told him I would keep the tribute work intact.

Very tasteful tribute to the previous owner's friend. I see that he also rotated the control plate, which many other ASAT Classic model owner do, too.
The Sperzel Locking tuners, Graph-Tech graphite nut, and #4 (1 11/16" nut width, 12" fretboard radius) neck are all options on this model.

Reason: Corrected #4 neck size for 2008 is 1 11/16" not 1 3/4".

Thanks John...I actually LOVE the pinstriping...However, the wing/tire/name part, is taking a bit to grow on me. This is a fine playing guitar. Very pleased.
Plus, I traded even for my Eastman T386. I told the guy I felt like this deal wasn't even, but he wanted the Eastman.
Not sure what the value of this G&L is but I am pretty sure it's more than my $800 Eastman.

Really nice looking guitar. Love the pinstriping. Like you, not fond of the wings/wheel thingy. But understand why you will keep it.

As far as the wings and wheels, do you own/ride motorcycles?

I rode my entire life until 2018. Then bought a 73 Mustang instead. The wing and Boone will stay a while longer. It's what I get for having a heart for the fallen I suppose.
