Keeeping Rampage in tune.

I recently purchased a Jerry Cantrell Rampage tribute model and am having trouble keeping it in tune. Any suggestions? Should I take off the locking tuners or just loosen them?

I'd guess the strings have not "stretched" out yet.
(I'm assuming it's a Kahler bridge) Loosen the screws on the locking nut so you can tune using the locking tuners on the headstock. Give a gentle tug up on the strings a few times, and re-tune as you go.
When it settles in and plays in tune, then re-tighten the screws on the locking nut. Set the fine-tuners on the bridge approx. halfway of their travel, and do a final re-tune using them.

Hope that works for you,
BW

Thanks for the tip BW! The tuning is fine now. For future reference, how tight do you recommend the screws on the locking not should be?

Just enough so they are snug. Good to see things are working out for you....
