Thanks to Jim DePitts for sending in these 1985 magazine ads showing
members of the group Berlin showing off their G&Ls (and their hair and
makeup ;-) ). Jim says, "The first-style X-body Interceptor is a very
interesting and comfortable instrument. The guitar plays a range of
strat-like combinations (in 3 s.c. configuration) but its pleasant
tones didn't match with its bizarre shape. And besides, Leo didn't
like it." In the second ad the Interceptor is joined by a nice clear
blue El Toro.
