Accessory pocket with lid (located in center of case), locking brass-plated hardware, large handle. Also, 1990-91 cases often have a metal G&L logo badge riveted to case between handle brackets. |
| Note: The bass cases are identical to the guitar cases from the same period, but they are larger in size. Also note that the L-5000 was issued with a student model case rather than a pro-model case. |
