This 1984 HG-2 is more or less the humbucking equivalent of a 1984
SC-2, though the production figures on HGs were pretty low. The HG
humbuckers are quite bright, but I find that they work pretty well
through my Marshall Silver Jubilee combo. Urban legend has it that a
single-pickup version of the HG (known as the HG-1) may exist as well,
though if the HG-1 does exist at all it likely does so in prototypical
form only.
