Brad W. Traweek's 1984 S-500

This 1984 S-500 is a real "time capsule" that appears to have been sitting under someone's bed for most of its life. The really unique feature of this instrument is its black headstock - on guitars from this era this feature is frequently indicative that the instrument is a NAMM show item. In this particular case, however, I have a hunch that the guitar was simply special-ordered with the black 'stock. In any case, I think it adds a really classy touch to the guitar's cosmetics!
