Brad W. Traweek's 1983 Nighthawk

Here's one of my favorites, a mahogany-bodied '83 Nighthawk that has a natural nitro finish. It's a player's-grade instrument that has a superb "broken-in" feel, and it sounds amazing!! I'm pretty sure when folks wax poetic about the "Leo era" guitars it's instruments like this that they're thinking of (at least that's the case with me, anyway ;-) ). I do think it'd be extremely cool if G&L offered mahogany as a body wood option - and I do wish these Nighthawk/Skyhawk pickups were available, too, as IMHO they are the best-sounding Str*t-style pickups G&L has ever offered.

The Nighthawk is a "rarebird"; for more information on this model, check out the Registry section on this page.
