Jeff Byrd's SC-1, SC-2 and SC-3 - All In The Family

Thanks to Jeff Byrd for sending in these photos of the whole line. Jeff says "Here is the whole line. A flock of Rarebirds. All first body style. The rare SC-1 with vibrato tail in aged White, the SC-2 in Black, and the scarce SC-3 in Viking Blue. In the book, "Vintage Electric Guitars: In Praise of Fretted Americana" by Willie G. Moseley, there is a picture of an SC-3, identical to mine. The author describes the white pickup covers on the Blue SC-3 as "Hyper-rare"! This SC-3 has Serial # G007778, dates to early '82, possibly late '81. Along with the other student models, the SC-1 and SC-2, the SC-3 shown here has the rare, first body style that was made in 1982 and 1983."
