1998-present Modern Tweed Case

Used for These Instrument Models: All models
Case Type: Plywood covered with tweed fabric, with stitched leather ends and white piping, made by G&G Case Co.
Lining: Plush lining (orange) with padded lid, only one interior cross-member.
Other: Accessory pocket with lid and snap strap, locking brass-plated hardware, padded stitched leather handle, easily identified by G&G logo embossed on pocket lid tab. Note that this case will not fit old style G&Ls with Strat-type bodies. To date, this case has primarily been used for limited-run Custom Creations models such as the ASAT Classic III and the 1999 www.guitarsbyleo.com Limited Edition. However, it is also available (at an upcharge) for even the "standard" models.
Note: The bass cases are identical to the guitar cases from the same period, but they are larger in size. Also note that the L-5000 was issued with a student model case rather than a pro-model case.
