1995 John Jorgenson Signature ASAT

In 2000, John and I swapped guitars at the Belly Up in Salono Beach, CA. He and his John Jorgenson Band were playing there. So, right before their sound check, he and I did the trade; one from his personal stock for the guitar I am holding.

I had mentioned to John, probably at NAMM, that I had one of his signature models with a maple fretboard and asked if he would mind signing the back of the headstock. He said because he only likes rosewood fretboards on his G&L's that he did not have any with a Maple fretboard and that he should probably get one. I suggested that we could do a swap and he agreed to this. So, when he and his John Jorgenson Band were scheduled to play at the Belly Up a month or two later that year, I contacted John and we arranged to meet there and make the exchange.
