How many Commemoratives were produced?
yowhatsshakin on February 06, 2010 at 19:09:04:

Hi gang,

I am somewhat confused about the number of Commemoratives that were produced. The Registry lists a total of 350 guitars and 150 basses. This would jibe with the number of 500 "guitars" stated by G&L allowed by the settlement in the case FMIC vs G&L (see also this entry on Greg Gagliano's website).

But I was rereading George's book "Leo & Me: etc." and he is listing a number of 250. Is this just a typo or is there more truth to it? For instance, the largest serial number in the registry for the Commemorative guitar is lo and behold 250 too.

Anybody care to shine a light on it?

- Jos
