F-100 pickup options posted by beedubyuh on February 08, 2010 at 17:30:26:

It'll take a little patience to find the MFD humbuckers.
I would do as you suggested, take her to a guitar tech , and see if you can find some pickups with the proper pole spacing.

I love the way the mahogany/maple combination sounds and feels. Some have described the stock combination of pickups and electronics in the F-100's as muddy, so you might make a better sounding guitar by exploring non-stock options,
considering the guitar has already been changed around a bit.

I have an F-100 that was missing the pickups and electronics when I bought her and I am really happy to have it as I can change things out without worrying about degrading the collectability status any more. She still has a lot of that Leo Mojo.
