What to twang with
Tundra on May 09, 2008 at 18:25:07:

Well.. I've the 80's F100, Night/Skyhawk, ASAT III, EB/MM Albert Lee, Patrick Eggle NY and the MM Sting Ray... love these guitars.. running them through Fender 30, Deluxe Reverb, vibrolux, bassman and MM210-65. I think I can twang with what I got, if I wanted to but after eq-ing it in. I think I want an offical twang guitar and everything point to Telecaster. I've read this would be the ASAT Classic or the ASAT Classic Custom semi-hollow in the G&L line. I thought about getting a Fender but can't bring myself to get one. I ran accross the St.Blues stuff, which seem to be the ultimate twang guitar besides the Telecaster.. running the same price as the Tribute series. BUT... I think I'd rather have a G&L. SO if you do the "official" twang which is your go to guitar? Is having maple fretboard a necessary thing than the rosewood. Sorry to be so stupid about this and thank you in advance. I don't twang much and maybe going the squire way might be better in case I find I don't care much for the twang thing. There are a couple nice ASATs in the market section. Again thank you.
