Multi-FX Units, any love in the GLDP?

Do you guys use any multi-effects units? I am thinking of the Boss ME-50 or maybe the TC Electronic G-Sharp. I have had a couple modelers that also have many effects and they seem to really mess the signal up and truly suck out the tone but I am willing to try a effects only unit. So any luck?
