If you don't "fix" a male cat, they will end up destroying your home. Oh, don't mix male and female cats; even when "fixed". They still have tension. I have spent thousands of dollars replacing carpets, molding & wood flooring due to this. Dogs just need more attention... If you don't have it, don't get it.
