| Lunch Report--Monday posted by Thundersteel on January 11, 2010 at 12:45:30: |
: Most of you probably will not recognize my name, since I don't post here very often. But I've been lurking (stalking?) here for some time, and I'm glad to be able to contribute something possibly worthwhile.
: OK, let me get started:
: 1. For lunch today is a couple slices of organic spinach/tomato/cheese pizza, along with a bottle of water. Yeah, I know it sounds kind of boring, but one of my New Year's Resolutions is to finally lose some weight, so hopefully I'll keep on track.
: The pizza is actually quite good, as it's not greasy like the major brands. So, if you want a good-tasting pie that's actually healthy, go find Amy's Organic Pizza in the freezer section of your favorite grocery store.
Pizza sounds good, I could probably do with losing a bit of weight myself !
===================
: 2. G&L: To start off, I'll just show some pictures of my basses: an L-2000, and a JB-2. By the way, the neck on the L-2000 really isn't that yellow! Anyone else here "bottom feeders?"
Nice basses, I don't have any G&L basses as it's been a long time since I played bass and wouldn't do one any justice.
=================
: 3. Discussion: A) G&L is Leo Fender's last company. He felt that these were the best instruments he made. Even so, some feel there could be room for improvement. What do you think could be improved? Construction? Design?
An ASAT Z-3 in lefty would be nice !
=================
: B) How do you feel about pet alteration? For instance, do you get your cat declawed, and/or your dog's tail docked?
Neutering is fine with me, both cats and dogs, I wouldn't however have a cat declawed.
