Lunch Report--Monday posted by Thundersteel on January 11, 2010 at 12:45:30:

: 1. For lunch today is a couple slices of organic spinach/tomato/cheese pizza, along with a bottle of water. Yeah, I know it sounds kind of boring, but one of my New Year's Resolutions is to finally lose some weight, so hopefully I'll keep on track. Healthy Pizza ... sounds a bit oxymoronic but i guess its possible :-)

: 2. G&L: To start off, I'll just show some pictures of my basses: an L-2000, and a JB-2. By the way, the neck on the L-2000 really isn't that yellow! Anyone else here "bottom feeders?"I don't own any basses. If I need one for anything I just borrow one from our bass player ... he's got plenty :-) Nice pair you have there though.

: 3. Discussion: A) G&L is Leo Fender's last company. He felt that these were the best instruments he made. Even so, some feel there could be room for improvement. What do you think could be improved? Construction? Design?Improved distribution chain ... particularly to the West Coast of Australia. More seriously, yeah the nuts do seem to be a bit of a skimp on guitars that are otherwise a cut above.

: B) How do you feel about pet alteration? For instance, do you get your cat declawed, and/or your dog's tail docked? Desexing unless you are a breeder. Anything else has to be on the basis of a net benefit to the animal (not the owner!).

cheers, Robbie
