Maybe it's the camera, but boy that color scheme really isn't working for me.

I think the white balance is off. I've seen a picture elsewhere where it is really purple like the other guitars from Pete. Painting and scratch plate may have confused the camera and nobody corrected it.

Right - Jos’ link looks more purple, the original pic is pure blue.
