Ash shortage

I saw a post on another forum regarding Fender discontinuing most of their models in Ash. They posted a letter from Fender to their dealers citing the infestation of the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle and chronic flooding in the Mississippi delta causing a severe shortage of Ash wood. Other than a few custom shop models Ash will not be used currently.

Has anyone heard anything similar going on with G&L?

Fender is much, much larger than G&L in terms of output; I suspect that G&L has a stockpile of ash to last a while longer before the ash shortage impacts them.
