G&L amp on Reverb

I had the opportunity to play through two different new G&L amps once at a Guitar show. One of those is up for sale
right now at Reverb. As I remember they sounded good, were built like tanks and fairly priced.
This one has a hefty price tag and is no longer new. I will pass once again.

I just went to Reverb, typed in G&L amp and there it is. Still there, just checked. It is big, loud and $4900.00

It was not built in the 80's (as mentioned in the ad) but was built by Bedrock Amps as one of four prototypes for G&L in the late 90's.

Last time I looked there were actually two... yeah, I know, what are the odds... only a few weeks ago, one in white and one in black... both Legacy amps.

Actually. just checked... both are still there....

Two more things I have lusted over for years, dangled oh-so-close in front of me, but I will never get within poking distance of... sigh.... I'm sure they will find good homes.

Also, I recall seeing something -- which I assume is on the GbL site -- which hinted that these prototypes were right on the verge of release. A pity it never happened.

It was a few years back, but I am pretty sure G&L released a flyer stating that these were available for pre-order....
