Lace Sensor offers loaded pickguards. They're created to basically fit into a Fender strat.
So I suppose the question is whether or not a Lace Sensor/Fender pickguard has any issues when put on a G&L? Only thing that could be a problem is just screw holes and the tremolo shape, right?

The Lace guards are Fender specific and therefore will not be a drop in fit. You can put the Lace sensors into your G&L Legacy, S-500 guard.
The Alumabuckers and Lace Sensors are designed to fit as an aftermarket upgrade.

I'd have to get a new pickguard for the mod regardless. If the Fender style pickguard isn't too difficult to mod for a G&L I was gonna take that route. I'm pretty sure I have the large open space instead of individual cavities under my pickguard.

The Legacy-bodied guitars' pickguard is cut specifically for the DF Vibrato. Strat guard won't work without a lot of cutting.
Try Chandler for a new guard.
