Year of production

is there a way to get my build year from my serial number, without having to unstring and remove the neck to check the neck pocket, all i know so far is it seems to be post-1992. thanks for any help.

Welcome aboard! The short answer is no. You need to pull the neck. The one work-around often mentioned is looking in the registry to see what serial #'s (and year(s) provided they were entered correctly by the registrant) bracket yours. But if you want to really know...

looks like its probably a 1993, judging by all the serial numbers that bracket it. thanks again for the help.
