Roller nut replacement

Is it possible to replace the factory installed G&L roller nut system with a regular nut without too much difficulty or expense? Would it look like a mess?

Yes. But unless you know how to cut a nut, use slot files, and do the cosmetic touch-ups, leave it to a professional luthier.

Yes, that's actually what I wanted to know..... whether or not it was possible for a professional to do a clean job for a reasonable price.
