I'm a former management consultant who grew up near and worked in Atlanta and has now retired to the foothills of Carolina. I have finally found the time to collect guitars and learn to play them better. My goals are to be able to play well and to own a small harem of high quality, beautiful guitars.

Of all the BBE era models in my harem, I'm the most fond of my ASAT 20th Anniversary. My Leo-era faves are the SC-2 and ASAT models. As with any harem, these faves are all fantastic players, each with it's own unique beauty and voice. Each also has its own feel. Heaven forbid, but if it ever came down to owning just ONE G&L out of them all, I'd have to go with the ASAT 20th Anniversary.

In the non-G&L portion of the harem, I have a '62 Gibson L-125TDC, a RSS Stepside Custom, a Taylor T-5, a Taylor 600 Special, & 10 CP Thornton archtops & solidbodies.

All my guitars seem to sound their best through my vintage Fender amps. I also like my Fuchs ODS-30, Dr Z MAZ 18, Carr Rambler, & Chicago Blues Box.

My book, "GAS - Living With Guitar Acquisition Syndrome, " takes a humorous look at afflicted GAS sufferers ... like me. It has sold over 3,000 copies so far & is available on my website.
