I'm 10 and a half and have been taking lessons for about a year and a half. My dad (who typed this)just bought me a used Cherry Sunburst Legacy off E-bay. It looks great! I've been playing an Ibenez GAX70, and until I got my Legacy, I didn't know what a real guitar was! Dude, this thing is so cool sounding. I love fooling with the pickup selector and distortion knobs on my amp. I love the crazy sounds like Jimi and Stevie Ray played. I sure wish Jimi didn't do drugs. I read in a book about him that he had sounds in his head he couldn't make his guitar play. Maybe if he was still alive, he could have figured it out. I'd love to hear it. Maybe someday I can be that good.
My Legacy is also way easier to play because the action is set so much better. I didn't know you could play just by touching the strings. I always had to mash them but now I can play faster and it sounds like real music.
My other activity is baseball. That's where my handle comes from. I'm a catcher and I wear #10.
