I've played a number of different basses in the relatively short amount of time I've been playing bass - about 6 years. I recently decided it was time for me to start playing a 5-string, so, based on much research and the fact I didn't want to pay a hefty amount for my first 5-string, I purchased a Tribute L-2500. I fell in love with this bass and have since purchased a G&L SB-1, which has now become my primary bass. I'm now officially a G&L groupie.
