I am a fulltime player living in Atlanta, GA. I play guitar violin, and I sing. I am currently a contract player. My last band gig was with an artist named Micheal Tolcher. We toured the summer of 2003 and played some dates with Maroon5 and Everclear. I love G&L guitars. My first electric was the tobacco burst that is listed here. I got a great deal on it and really didn't know what it was. I have two custom made LesPaul/PRS style guitars that cost way too much money. I have an endorsement with the company, and they were built for me, but they just don't have the tone of the G&L's. I did swap out the stock pick ups for Fralin's and this guitar through my SMF Class A 15 watt amp sounds like pure rock and roll. I know it's the single coil tone that is partly why these guitars sound so good to me. I'm currently trying to figure out how to make my humbucking guitars have the presence of a single coil, but not lose the girth. G&L's play so well because of the time and care taken to construct them. I'm currently trying to buy as many older models of different varieties as I can, before the rest of the guitar playing communtiy realizes how great these guitars are and they triple in value!
