Hi, Robert here. I've been at "the guitar game" for about 14 years now. Let me start by stating that my Legacy Special is the most smooth and comfortable guitar I've ever played. It's a 1997 3-bolt neck (one of the last, I guess). I also have a 1995 American Strat which I covet with equal enthusiasm. I play through a Roland JC-90 and a few Boss pedals, including an OD-3 Overdrive (my favorite). I have broad musical tastes which include a love of Rush, Led Zeppelin, Sixpence None the Richer, George Strait, Jewel, The Eagles, and of course the almighty Clapton. Given my broad tastes, I enjoy playing instruments that provide great versatility and variety of tone, which is why I stand by G&L and Fender. My Legacy Special is a tone monster that truly brings out the best in whatever amp it's played through. I only have the Roland amp but I'll likely someday purchase a Fender Twin to go along with it. Enough rambling, but I'll close by stating that since purchasing my Legacy Special in 1997, I have never been anything but totally happy with it...so thanks to the G&L folks for such excellent work! One question though...how did my guitar end up with a serial number starting with B? Strange...
