Born in 1960 in Hull, England and grew up in Pontefract West Yorks. I started playing guitar at about age 12, and did the usual in & out of bands until my early 20's. I was dragged out of retirement at the ripe old age of 30 when I was coerced into the lead guitar spot in a Metal band (With my usual knack for timing, this was about about ten seconds before the grunge explosion) which proceeded to get absolutely nowehere before imploding when the singer was thown into jail :).
I somehow waited until I was 35 before escaping the UK and moving to SE Asia where I quickly accquired a massive case of GAS. My G&L addiction started in '97, shortly after I moved from Hong Kong to Kuala Lumpur, hey, I had to do something while I was waiting for my wife to join me!
