WOW! On 12/23/2004, I discovered I owned a "rarebird" 1982 G-200 with the rear mounted controls. Holy Merry Christmas! To Me <umph>
This instrument was sold to me about a year ago by an old friend who purchased it either in Wichita Falls or Denton TX. Our first band together, featured him with it circa 1989. It has seen several club dates with both of us. I was most interested in figuring out what the 3-way coil tapping switch was about. The middle position with bass boost had me confused as to which way was which with respect to single v. humbucker function. Imagine my surprise! About the rarity, onion...
