I grew up in a musical family, and studied piano and drums in grade school. I continued to play drums for several years, and then sold them after I got married. 19 years later I bought a cheap electric guitar to try something different and to play along with my daughter who was just starting lessons. Within 3 months I had moved up to a black/silver swirl Legacy and it spoiled me rotten for anything less. I have had an assortment of G&Ls come through my house since then, and I have a variety of electric guitars now, but I still have the Legacy, an ASAT Classic semihollow, and a 1987 red/rosewood Lynx bass, which is just too-ooo cool. I'm mostly a hobbyist, but get into multi-guitar jams now & then. I've also pieced together a vintage Slingerland drum kit with pieces from the '30s through the '70s. My stepson and I created a black sparkle finish (not in production) to cover all the drums to match the all-original bass drum.
