I was born into a military family in the great state of Indiana and spent the first 15 years of my life moving from place to place. I wanted to play electric guitar since I first saw Ricky Nelson on TV way back when. I thought that was just the coolest thing to do. I took a few lessons here and there, but didn't really get started until we moved to Tampa, Florida and hooked up with an older kid who could really play. I've been playing ever since then, about 37 years now.
I used to travel a lot and took a guitar with me everywhere I went. It was an amazing ice breaker and a great way to get invited to all sorts of parties and fun.
I traded my Strat for a Fullerton in 1996 and been playing G&L guitars ever since. I only have two G&L guitars at the moment: a Broadcaster and a mahogany Legacy HB. Other guitars I own are two Don Grosh Retro Classics, a Peavey Wolfgang hardtail, a Gibson SG Custom, a PRS Custom 22/12 and a Lowden S10 acoustic guitar.
Oh, I love boutique amps and Matchless rules! I am playing through a Matchless Clubman Reverb with the matching 1x12 Matchless cabinet. I also have a Swart Atomic Space Tone which is also a fantastic sounding amp. In fact, one of the most remarkable amps I've ever heard. This is definitely a "must have" amp. Other amps I own are a Tophat Portly Cadet (serial number 001), and 3 Fender Super Champs.
