Full-time Daddy to two boysand part-time attorney, I stumbled upon G&L as I have stumbled upon many of my vices: by mixing beer and eBay! I thought it would be cool to find a Tele with P-90's, so I bid on and won an ASAT Special and promptly fell in love. (I now know that the pickups are not P-90s. These MFDs are better!). Since then, I've traded my Strat for a Legacy and found one honey of a Bluesboy.
It took some time, but I finally got my paws on a couple of Leo-era guitars, both first body style SCs and both acquired from forum members named Gary. You can't make this stuff up.
Most recently, I jumped on the opportunity to own a 1st-style SB-2 bass guitar in rare Bahama Blue.
Though I don't even pretend to play bass, the feel of this instrument (like my SCs) is totally vintage Fender, and these MFD single coil bass pickups seem, even to my novice ear, to be very special indeed.
Anyway, I'm enjoying all of my G&L guitars very much. I hope one day to do them justice.
