Here’s an ineresting thought - 99% of those ‘most expensive’ guitars look like something you could walk into Guitar Center and spend $300 - $1000 to get. The G&L is it’s own thing though, much less replaceable :)

Hah. I know a forum that has a filter that resulted in ‘Dick Van Dyke’s Cockney accent’ being ‘Ding-Dong Van Lady’s Ding-Dongney accent.’

We’ll see if this site does the same :D

It was listed for $40,000 and sold. However, I believe that the selling price could have been lower. When a lower price offer is accepted by the seller, the Reverb post doesn't reflect that. It just has the original asking price and the sold notation.

I believe you are correct there. And for outsiders it is just friggin hard to figure out what that number is. I've spent several hours now trying to finagle the Reverb website to give me a "price comparison", so far without success.
