S-500 toggle switch question

Post by johnnyqb »

The info I can find online suggests that when the toggle is active, the 1 and 5 positions each combine the neck and bridge pickups. However, those two positions sound different (each sound great) with the toggle on. Can I assume that position 1 is mainly the bridge pup with the neck added in, and that position 5 is mainly the neck pup with the bridge added in?

The toggle switch is the pickup expander switch, see: What is the expander switch used on many of the models?

Hope this helps.
