First off my oldest G&L is a 1999 until a few minutes ago. I am wondering if you guys can validate me a little. I just bought this guitar IMO it looked like a too good to be true kind of deal. Can anyone give me an idea value on this guitar? It's a 1986

Thanks guys,
It was through eBay so I haven't gotten it yet. I am really excited about it. It had been up for auction for ten minutes when i saw it and just decided to jump without thinking about it (which I never do, I am usually super analytical and have to plan everything). The auction did say that there was quite a bit of fret wear but that it still played and sounded great with no issues. Consider my fingers crossed.
Nice Axe - Congrats! Dig how the nitro finish on the neck has aged… just like on a 50's or early 60's Pre-CBS Fender.
Ha - Seems to be a theme lately with G&L instruments being had for stupid low $ making folks think there's something seriously wrong with them…
Nah, just partially the economy coupled with majority of folks being hung up on a brand name, mass conformity or they can't get past 'ugly' headstocks LOL…
Hey guys,
It got here and it sounds awesome. Only bad news, the seller tried to clean the neck and he used something that Softened The nitro. Also the fact that it came from the humid south to blistering hot dry Phoenix. Now alas there is fuzz stuck to the finish I am spending tweezer time trying to clean it up.
