Just bought my first G&L: a 1996 ASAT Special, in clear orange.
Very nice guitar. Warm tones and beatiful looks!
Kind of heavy, though. But that's fine, cause I don't gig a lot.
I've head many guitars over the past few years and yet, I'm really impressed with this one.
I wasn't expecting much, and it surprised me!
Fun fact: mine has one of those mistakenly stamped neckplates, starting with a B (which normally would be used only for basses).
