Hi,
I picked up a 1985 Invader. Been reading through the stuff but can't seem to find specs.
Like:
Body wood?
Neck finish?
Any help or direction appreciated. There are a few dings in the neck that need attention.

You might contact
G&L Support and ask them for the details of this guitar. Include the full serial number when you contact them.
Hope this helps.

Good sir,
it is my understanding that MOST of those 85 Invaders/Rampages/Superhawks were Maple bodied.
My '87 Invader is a maple body.
as far as neck finish - err, most likely it's poly over some sort of maple stain - I would guess.

Thanks.
Got this response from G&L:
Your red 85’ invader has a soft maple body, ebony neck, neck finish is Sadolin (polyurethane) , humbucker is a Schaller, the singles are G&L MFD ,
Neck is an 1 11/16” nut width. Sounds like a cool guitar, enjoy, and thanks for playing G&L! have a great day.
Best Regards,
