The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
My wife and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary today, or Silver Anniversary and she surprised me with a silver G&L surprise. A minty John Jorgenson ASAT was presented along with a cool silver guitar pick and stand. Have not plugged her in yet, but the neck is super fast and fairly light weight. Came with case, brochure and paperwork.
Silver pick
Just for yucks, here she is with the rest of the Hellecasters (Will Ray sig and parts JD5 with all G&L spec parts)
Taking my wife to dinner and will play when time allows for sure!!

1- Keep the wife!
2- Congrats to both on you on your 25th Anniversary. I hope there will be many more (see point 1).
3- That guitar is not too shabby either!
Plugged her in briefly last night and she sings just as expected. Jos has a good overview of the Jorgenson model on his yowhatsshakin site, and the pups are the same as a standard ASAT, but that's a good thing. I do wonder how it would sound if G&L finished John Jorgenson's original pup design just for something different.
blarg - my thoughts exactly
drjho7 - I will have to get a guitar stand and attempt the two guitar playing style of the great Steve Howe.
Fumble - there is a new one posted on Reverb with all goodies and a signed pickguard. (it's calling yer name )
That is the best anniversary present I have ever seen. I think envy is a sad emotion, so I suppress it until I find something truly worthy of it. Today the envy cage has been opened, this was worthy.

Congratulations to both of you! 25 years is awesome - keep it going!
Congrats on the 25th to both of you. What a keeper your wife is to get you such a wonderful present. You will have to name it after some pet name you guys had back in the beginning of your relationship. If you are into naming guitars, and had pet names. Either way, both should be cherished for eternity.
