I had some Tele & Strat pups from other projects. I thought of using a Fralin Vintage set, but would be better to have more attack with a Tex Mex set. To go with those, I figured a SSL 1 in the middle. With the SSL in the middle, I could have attack in either direction.
I was never happy with the push pull switch. With the fine knurling Ive never able to use the switch effectively. So I change it out for a normal volume control.
Laura (my Voodoo Lounge Deluxe Tele) came with a concentric pot used as a blender. While it was... interesting, I never thought it of much value. A week ago I rewired her "Stelecaster". Thats a special Nashville set up! With another concentric in my drawer, I duplicated that with Natalii. The wiring is like a Strat, the bottom pot controls the neck & middle & the top pot controls the bridge. Attack in both direction & more tone control.
She is now 1 of top 3, along with Blondii.
